About Me
A Deeper Dive
I want to make a difference in the Video Game Industry. Every club I’ve joined, every class I’ve taken, every answer I’ve sought out has been with the Producer goal in mind. I believe I have developed excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, as well as the basic technical and artistic knowledge to understand the industry. In my free time I watch GDC presentations, game post-mortems, and project management videos on YouTube. I have so much left to learn and people to learn from and I can't wait to formally get started in Graduate School. I’m eager to absorb all the knowledge this industry offers and give back in any way I can.

Video games haven’t come close to the impact they will have on our society. These life changing pieces of art deliver emotions, struggle, excitement, and experience in a way nothing else can. I want to be a part of delivering that experience to others and help this field grow and meet the enormous potential it has.

My goal in the video game industry is a common one: reduce or eliminate crunch. The burnout and pressure of the video game industry pushes so many highly talented individuals away and creates the disproportionate age demographic we see today. I want to study and develop new and applicable project management practices to apply at a future studio. I want to create new ways to increase the efficiency of scheduling, improve employee work-life balance, and sustain the passion people have when entering this amazing field. To get there I will continue my studies in project methodology, learn from mentors, and continue asking questions as I progress through my career.
